Facilities and Program Management Support Services
This Business Area is responsible for performing a wide range of facility support management activities and program management functions for government agencies. These include:
- Telecommunications and Conference Management Support Services
- Technical Assistance and Training which includes needs assessment, training design and materials development, development of evaluation procedures, training of trainers, technical assistance delivery planning, and actual delivery of technical assistance at the client site or through distance learning.
- Conference Management which includes the full range of conference management and meeting logistics support activities from site selection, program design, speaker/trainer selection, invitation/brochure mailing, registration, cashiering, program logistics, on-site conference management, program evaluation, and close out. These services may also include related conference support activities such as curriculum design and development, the development of custom-designed instructional materials, development of computer assisted instruction programs, and the provision of technical writing and publications support, and audio/video support.
- Facilities Management Support Services including the performance of a wide range of management support services and functions for Federal Agencies which, as a result of the A-76 Program, the Federal government has elected to contract out rather than perform the work with government employees. These services may include the operation of mailrooms, telephone message centers, information clearinghouses and libraries, as well as the performance of a wide range of administrative and clerical support functions.
- Program Management Support Services include the on-site assumption of the responsibility for the management and operation of governmental program support activities such as a major agency's Conference Management Facilities or Headquarters Audio-Video and/or Distance Learning Center.
